International families are of course welcome with their young children at SKSG. 

SKSG Preschool

In collaboration with the international division of the GSV (Groningse Schoolvereniging), SKSG offers a unique bilingual preschool programme for children between 3 to 4 years old. This programme, consisting of 50% Dutch and 50% English, supports your child in acquiring the required skills for primary school and provides ideal preparation. The activities programme of the preschool is based on international programmes for early childhood education and is regularly adapted to reflect the latest developments. The preschool is managed by teachers from GSV and SKSG, and represents an ideal mix of education and day care.

Opening times for preschool

The Preschool times are fixed times on Monday morning, Tuesdag morning, Thursday morning and/or Friday morning from 8.00 am to 1.00 pm. The minimum you can book is two mornings per week. As recommended by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science (OCW), no childcare will be provided during the school holidays and SKSG’s childcare centres are closed on public holidays for the region Noord-Nederland. In principle, childcare ends when children turn 4. If your child is not starting primary school immediately, then you can extend the childcare by a maximum of three months. You can submit a written request for such an extension to the customer service of SKSG.

Registration and cancellation

Would you like to register your child for preschool? We love to inform you about the possibilities! Please feel free to contact our customer service via telephone number 050-3171390.

For cancelling the childcare before the agreed end date, please send a written cancellation to the customer service. A notice period of one month is applicable for reducing or cancelling the childcare.
